It is very important in the early years of formal education to give pupils a sense of the well-being and fulfilment that comes from physical exercise and participation in the arts.
Music, art, drama and physical education are actively taught and encouraged by talented and dedicated teachers.
Our pupils swim once a week along with their two physical education lessons.
One lesson takes place on-site and may take advantage of the indoor facilities of the Waterside gym.
Friday is games day, all children from Year 1 upwards spend an hour at the games fields learning team sports skills, including cricket and rounders !
