Arts and crafts

A hodge podge of creation and a whole lot of fun! Students will learn different techniques and use an array of materials to create fun art projects!

Open to years: 2 ‐ 7

Hip hop and modern dance

This is one of the coolest and consequently most popular classes at BIS-NY. Children dance to a variety of styles of hip or popular music from today and hip songs from different times.
Your child may even bring in their favorite music if appropriate and kid‐friendly.

Open to years: 1 – 7

Mandarin

The carousel of languages is an enchanting foreign language program for children offering lessons in Italian, Mandarin, French and Spanish.

Our program seeks to enrich the minds and spirits of young children with the educational advantage and intellectual stimulation gained through early exposure to a foreign language. Our methodology emphasizes the importance of multi‐sensory learning through verbal‐visual‐tactile association, providing each student with the opportunity to learn on multiple levels.

Robotics and machines

Robotics and machines will use different tools to construct transporters, robots, and machines that have moving parts and workable features! Students will be encouraged and supported while creating their projects to insure a strong sense of personal accomplishment.
