Ms. Stewart earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, in Australia. Ms. Stewart majored in sculpture, performance and installation art. Later she gained her Masters in Teaching at the University of Sydney, majoring in secondary (High School) art teaching. Ms. Stewart graduated as a teacher in 1997 and worked in Australia for five years teaching children with severe behaviour and emotional disorders. During that period she also coordinated art programs and taught a full range of school ages. In London, Ms. Stewart worked as a teacher for six years teaching Year 1, Reception and Nursery. She gained her Qualified Teacher Status in teaching early years and studied Early Childhood Education at Roehampton University. In the academic year of 2006 to 2007, she was headmistress of a successful, private Montessori kindergarten in Battersea, London
